On 14 May 2020 the final version of the act called the Anti-cisis Package 3.0 was passed. The act introduces amendments to the acts in relation to protective measures in connected with the spread of the SARS-Cov-2 virus. The latest provisions include changes to the rules for the exemptions from ZUS, micro-loans, benefits for suspension of economic activities and also specifies the course of civil law procedures.
The act introduces an extended possibility of benefiting from the exemption from the payment of the ZUS contributions for self-employed workers who have exceeded the revenue limit of 15,681 PLN. Despite exceeding the above limit, self-employed workers can now benefit from the exemption provided that their earnings for the month for which they are applying has not exceeded 7,000 PLN.
There is a possibility of reimbursement of the ZUS contributions paid for the months of April and May, and not only for the month of March as in the case of the previous provisions. Moreover, people who registered their companies before 1 April 2020 will now be able to benefit from micro-loans and benefits for suspension of economic activities.
The introduction of the new Package led to the repeal of the provisions that before 15 May 2020 interrupted or suspended, e.g., the course of the limitation periods as well as the judicial and procedural terms.
Amendments have also been made to the provisions of the Civil Code and the Code of Civil Procedure, according to which the contracts that provide for the guarantee on a housing unit of a natural person are not valid and the auctions of housing units become eligible.
