The government has presented a comprehensive action plan and predictions for the coming 100 days that will allow to adapt to the epidemic reality - both economic and social.
There were prepared three draft regulations on restrictions, orders and bans in connection with the state of the epidemic. These are three variants of restrictions that will be applied depending on the development of the situation and they include:
- responsibility stage (from November 28 to December 27),
- stabilization stage, i.e. the return to the division of Poland into three zones - red, yellow and green (from December 28 at the earliest - depending on the epidemic situation),
- national quarantine (which will be introduced as a last resort, when it will be necessary to immediately and drastically reduce the transmission of the virus in society).
The authorities emphasize that further loosening of restrictions or their tightening depends on our responsible behavior, which results in the number of cases.
Responsibility stage - from November 28 to December 27
From November 28 stores and services in shopping centers and retail parks will be able to operate under strict sanitary regime. There will be a limit of people in shops and shopping malls - a maximum of 1 person per 15 m2. It should be remembered that in public spaces it is mandatory to cover mouth and nose.
The study break across the country will last from January 4 to January 17, 2021 and will replace the previous winter holidays. This year, however, children and youth will stay at home due to the ban on organizing trips for winter holidays.
The government envisages support for the tourism industry. Entrepreneurs who operate in the winter tourism industry can also count on help. They will receive compensation to help ease the effects of the crisis.
Stabilization stage from December 28 - depending on the epidemic situation, a gradual return to the red, yellow and green zones is possible
When the number of cases decreases, the division into zones will be restored: red - counties with the highest number of infected people, yellow and green - counties with the lowest number of infected people. The existing restrictions will also be gradually loosened.
