From 15 January to 28 February 2021, entrepreneurs may submit applications for subsidies under the Financial Package 2.0 of the Polish Development Fund. The value of the Financial Package 2.0 is about PLN 35 billion.
Micro, small and medium enterprises from 45 sectors under the PKD codes listed in the KRS or CEIDG registers, including: retail, HORECA, tourism, fitness, education, can apply for additional funds. These are the industries most affected by the second wave of the COVID-19 epidemic.
The amount of the subsidy received will depend primarily on the amount of the loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the size of the enterprise. The periods to consider are October-December or April-December, comparing 2020 with the previous year. It is also possible to write off up to 100% of the granted subsidy depending on the maintenance of the employment level.
The maximum amount of aid for micro-enterprises employing 1-9 employees, with a turnover or balance sheet total for 2019 of up to EUR 2 million, can receive 18 thousand or 36 thousand per employee, and in total up to PLN 324 thousand for all employees.
Small and medium-sized enterprises employing from 1 to 249 employees, with a turnover for 2019 of EUR 50 million or less, or a balance sheet total of up to EUR 43 million, can receive a total of up to PLN 3.5 million (including a maximum of PLN 72 thousand per employee).
The Financial Package for Large Enterprises is intended for large companies from all industries that require aid in connection with the epidemic. Currently, it is waiting for approval from the European Commission.
After at least 7 days from submitting a tax declaration, an entrepreneur applying for aid may submit an application for a subsidy via electronic banking systems.
