Poland has submitted an application for payment from the National Reconstruction Plan to the European Commission .

Poland has sent the first payment application from the National Reconstruction Plan to the European Commission. From the first payment application, Poland will receive nearly 7 billion euros (over 31 billion zlotys), including nearly 2.8 billion euros from the grant part and 4.2 billion euros from the loan.

The funds from the first application for payment from the NRP will be used, among other things, for legal facilitations for companies, increasing innovation and digitization of enterprises, facilitations for

medical students, more effective management of the Maluch Plus program's financing, increasing road safety, or for the entry into force of the Law on Social Economy.

Evaluation of the first payment request by the European Commission will take about 2.5 months. The procedure of opinion by the Commission's committees will be about one month. This means that the disbursement of funds from the first NRP payment application can be expected in April 2024.

The NRP is a program from which Poland is to receive 59.8 billion euros (261.4 billion zlotys), including 25.3 billion euros (110.4 billion zlotys) in grants and 34.5 billion euros (151 billion zlotys) in preferential loans.
