Who is obliged to provide Intrastat information?

For the year 2017, the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS) has established the following values of statistical thresholds for entities that pursue turnover with EU countries:

Basic threshold:

• for import: PLN 3 mln

• for export: PLN 2 mln

Specific threshold

• for import: PLN 50 mln

• for export: PLN 93 mln

If in a given calendar year the value of such turnover exceeds the value set for this threshold, the person is obliged to provide statistical information in the next reporting year, irrespective of whether the sales of this year have reached the value for the basic threshold.
