The project prepared by the Ministry of Finance will enable bilateral communication between the National Tax Administration (KAS) bodies and clients via the electronic system of Tax Office (e-US). Taxpayers will be able to comprehensively deal with their matters on-line and will not pay the stamp duty for issuing certificates if they submit their applications via e-US.
The draft act introduces automation of handling certain cases handled by KAS with the use of ICT systems. The e-Tax Office system will replace the Tax Portal used so far by KAS. Communication via e-US (in the form of a website or mobile application) will be as valid in legal terms as performing activities in a traditional form.
e-US used in contacts with KAS authorities will be an information and transaction service for:
- taxpayers,
- payers,
- proxies,
- court bailiffs and notaries.
e-Tax Office will provide access to tax-related information. It will also guarantee full transactionality - it will allow for comprehensive online tax matters, mainly in the field of VAT, PIT and CIT.
People using e-US will not incur the costs of the stamp duty on the issued certificates. The bill contains also a reduction of the costs of foreign postal money transfers related to tax overpayments returned to taxpayers residing outside Poland.
We will also introduce the teleinformation system "e-Koncesje" which will allow for electronic service and improvement of the issuing of concessions and permits.
