Poland, together with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, has officially submitted to the European Commission a joint project to create the Baltic AI GigaFactory<\/b>, a pan-European infrastructure for artificial intelligence with an estimated value of approx. EUR 3 billion<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The initiative was submitted at the end of August 2025 as part of the EU’s InvestAI programme, which aims to build high-performance computing gigafactories across the Union. The goal: to strengthen Europe’s digital sovereignty<\/b>, reduce dependency on non-EU suppliers and support the development of local language models and generative AI applications<\/b>.<\/p>\n
