Born in Varese in 1962, Donato has built a solid and influential career in the international economic landscape. A graduate in Law from the University of Milan, he decided in 1992 to move to Poland, a country where he left an indelible mark by founding Core Sp. z o.o. in 1994. His entrepreneurial vision and ability to navigate complex markets have made him a key figure for over 30 years.
In 1996, Donato co-founded the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland, an institution that has promoted and strengthened economic ties between Italy and Poland. His leadership has been recognized through various prestigious roles: President of the Chamber from 2009 to 2013, Vice President of the Chamber Council from September 2015 to September 2017, and he currently leads the Study Center, contributing to research and strategic analysis for Italian companies in Poland.
An expert in internationalization and business development with a particular focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Donato has successfully supported over 300 companies – from start-ups to multinationals – in their investment and growth processes in Poland. His expertise in the field has enabled him to hold key positions within the boards of directors of client companies, where he continues to positively influence business strategies.
