Management Team

Luigi Riva

President

Was born in Lecco in 1965. After graduating in Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and completing a Master’s degree at Bocconi University, he began his career in consulting.

In 2000, he founded Strategic Management Partners, of which he is President. Over the years, the company has grown to become a benchmark among Italian companies, with a team of over 200 professionals working throughout Italy and six offices in Italy (Milan, Cagliari, Genoa, Naples, Rome and Verona) and two abroad (Malaga and Warsaw). Strategic has always worked with both Italian SMEs and large companies, distinguishing itself in its areas of excellence (Strategy, Digital Transformation, Customer Experience, Operations), creating a real partnership with its clients and offering support on both strategic and implementation aspects, using the tools and methods best suited to their needs.

He has always been involved in and been part of associations: since 2013, he has been a member of Assoconsult, representing medium-sized companies and overseeing the organisation and its development, first as a member, then as Vice President, until becoming President in 2022. In 2025, he became President of Confindustria PROM.

Piero Cannas

Vice President

Graduated in Hydraulic Civil Engineering from the University of Cagliari and holding a PhD in Environmental Engineering, Piero combines technical expertise with a strategic vision, promoting innovative and sustainable solutions. Multilingual, he is fluent in Italian and English, facilitating international collaborations.

Since 2013, Piero has been the President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland, a role that reflects his commitment to economic integration between Italy and Poland. With a solid career in business consulting, he has specialized in Organization, Internationalization, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), guiding companies toward successful achievements.

Thanks to the combination of technical expertise and leadership, Piero is a reference point in international business consulting, contributing to growth and innovation in an evolving global market.

Iwona Remigier-Banasiak

Administrative and Financial Director

Graduated from the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, with postgraduate studies at the Higher School of Management and Marketing in Warsaw.
She has been collaborating with Core since April 1997, where she currently holds the position of CFO and simultaneously acts as the company’s attorney-in-fact.
Since 1996, she has been active in the non-profit association AVSI Polska, for which she has implemented numerous assistance projects.
She has extensive experience in the implementation of restructuring projects, due diligence, business plan preparation, management process support, and consulting on companies’ operational activities.
She is fluent in Italian and English.

Joanna von Boetticher

Lawyer

A lawyer registered with the Warsaw Bar Association and the Rome Bar Association.
She graduated with excellent results from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and was an Erasmus scholar at the Faculty of Law at the University of Parma.
She has also completed the School of Italian Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw.
Fluent in Italian, English, and Polish.
She specializes in commercial law, construction law, and provides consultancy in M&A transactions and due diligence.

Stefano Moroncelli

Director, EU Finance Department

Director of the International Department for European Funding, specializing in Eastern Europe Funds, facilitated finance, and the design of European Union tenders. He is an international expert in EU policies.
His responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of reports on selected funding opportunities,
  • Development of financing projects, including business plans,
  • Support in the collection and preparation of necessary materials,
  • Building partnership networks, including between entities in different regions or countries.

He is a speaker and evaluator at conferences and international bodies of the European Commission.
Master’s degree in European Studies (M.A.): EU law, policies, and economics from the University of Siena and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
Languages: English, Polish, Spanish, French.
Citizenship: Italian-Polish.

Marek Soszyński

Project Manager – Senior Analyst

Born in 1964 in Węgrów, he graduated from the Faculty of Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology in 1988. In 1994, he earned a Master’s degree in Communication and Marketing through the Publitalia postgraduate program of the Fininvest Group in Milan.
Since 1998, he has been collaborating with Italian companies and organizations in Poland.
At the consulting company Core Sp. z o.o., he prepares market studies, analyses and reports, applications for European and national funding, and manages investment projects, economic missions, and personnel recruitment.
Since 2016, he has been collaborating with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Poland, contributing to the mini think-tank analytical Center for Studies.
Since 2008, he has been Vice President of the AVSI Polska association, responsible for preparing funding applications, managing, and reporting on European and national projects.
He is fluent in Italian and English.

Jolanta Hacia

Chief Accountant

Specialization and Experience
For over 15 years, she has been involved in accounting and taxation, with a particular focus on companies with foreign capital. Her experience includes:

  • Management of international transactions.
  • Accounting for companies operating in Special Economic Zones.
  • Accounting management for companies utilizing EU structural funds.

Qualifications and Memberships

  • Accounting certificate issued by the Ministry of Finance.
  • Member of the Association of Accountants in Poland.

Education
Master’s degree in Economics, specialization in Finance and Accounting.

Foreign Language Skills: Italian (fluent), English (advanced).

Marcin Golizda

Advisor

Former head of the Cybercrime Division of the Criminal Bureau of the Police Headquarters.

From the beginning of his service in the Police, he was associated with technical units and activities related to the implementation of modern technologies in the field of operational technology and cybercrime as the head of the above-mentioned units.

During his service in the Police, he was the National Contact Point of the European Network of Law Enforcement Technology Services (ENLETS), whose main goal is to strengthen activities in the field of incorporation of modern technologies into the work of law enforcement agencies and to promote the use of modern technologies in the fight against crime while cooperating with representatives of industry and scientific and research centers.

He was an expert of the Council of the EU in the seventh round of GENVAL peer reviews on the prevention and fight against cybercrime. Currently, he is an employee of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, where he lectures on subjects related to cybersecurity, personal data protection and information security management system.

He is also an expert of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security in the field of cybersecurity. It has NATO and EU security certificates. At the same time, as the Director of the Security Department of one of the largest Internet portals in Poland, he is responsible for cybersecurity
